Happy birthday my love, may God bless you on this, your day,
For being you, bringing happiness in your own sweet loving way.
We've celebrated many together, I thank God for each one,
All your family loving you, and also Jesus, the Father's Son.

Here's hoping you receive many blessings today,
You're so deserving, I know God will send them your way.
I met you, it seems so long ago, but maybe it was only yesterday,
We've grown, we've loved, what else is there to say?

Don't think you've ever had a birthday party dear,
But you're going to have one today, so lets get that clear!
The first one I gave you an ivory comb and brush,
You softly kissed me, and so readily made me blush.

But on this day I just want all to know how much I love Thee,
How I wish the rest of your life, for happiness to be.
And one day tomorrow when we've been here and gone,
The loved ones left will know, we've loved and gone on home.

That's the greatest gift one can give, just to give you love,
Somehow I know, from your eyes that glow, Jesus loves you from above.
I know you look not for worldly riches, castle halls, neither fame,
Nor titles, silver or gold, but through God a worthy name.
