JUST FOR AN HOUR

I wish you were a little boy again,
For just a little while today,
Then we could get down on the floor,
And "horsey" we would play.

I'd dance you all around the house,
And maybe give you candy bites,
Which Mama says are against the rules,
She says it might spoil your appetite.

But I love you just as much,
As a wonderful grownup man.
You've always been there for us,
A true and wonderful friend.
