BRIDE AND GROOM

Lord keep the light shining in thy heart,
Ne'er troubles to impart,
Keep thee only to each other,
Gladly be thy babe's dad and mother.

Forgiving each other every day,
Asking God to show the way,
Never tempers flare,
Lest you go to God in prayer,

Ask forgiveness of each one,
Before down, goes the sun.
Keep your love fresh and new,
As the fresh fallen dew.

Stars at night glimmer hope,
In this union, for each to cope.
Thank thy Lord up above,
For the wonder of thy love,

Ne'er ere to douse the flame,
Asking God in Jesus name.
