A Day of Thoughts
Sometimes there are days of thoughts; that we can't comprehend,
We ponder upon the day, and wonder if we'll break or bend.
Some thoughts run deep into our mind; worry too,
But we just have to wait it out; to know what we shall do.

I am sitting here this night, not really knowing why this would be.
I thought over all the hours and yet; I still cannot see…
I worked in our flower garden most all day; try to make it neat.
But, when I looked and never found; my heart skipped a beat.

I'll be ecstatic when Jesus comes down, to say it’s time; my child.
To gather with the angels in a Heaven, that shall make us smile.
Will I still wonder the thoughts; I wanted so badly to know?
Or shall I just put them aside, and go where Jesus wants me to go?

Some days are a beauty to behold; it’s up to me to make the day.
We can sit and cry, or we can try another thoughtful way,
Sometimes we do all that we can, but it seems not enough,
To ones who look over our character; thinking we're greedy, or tough.

Come, go with me through a day; connect on my simple mind.
There might just be some good in me; that you could find.
No-one knows my thoughts, and neither do I, theirs as yet.
We shall figure it all out one day; but let’s let the day beget.
